GMS 7th Grade Ancient Rome Project
On Wednesday, 5/22 the seventh-grade students presented a project that was centered around the Ancient Roman Empire. The students built an aqueduct, made Google slide presentations, made a collage, and acted out a skit modeling how a meeting of the Roman Republic leaders would solve issues related to the time period. Many of the seventh-grade parents came in to see a gallery walk of the completed work. The project concluded with an Italian style lunch which many of the parents, students, and teachers contributed to.
The students did an excellent job showing their knowledge of the many different aspects of the Roman empire. Many thanks to the teachers for organizing and dedicating the time for our students to learn project-based learning.
