Dear Georgetown families:
I hope this letter finds you well. The Business office is busy coordinating refunds for various field trips and programs that were cancelled due to the closure of schools. In some cases vendors were paid, so we have reached out to these vendors and requested refunds. We will need to collect these refunds in order to prepare refunds for families.
At Penn Brook the field trips cancelled were in Grade 2 and Grade 3.
We are currently gathering all information and preparing it for the town treasurer. When we receive the approval those checks will be written and sent out. This process may take 2 – 4 weeks.
At the Middle-High school Grades 7 and 8 Camp Kieve programs were cancelled.
That information has been prepared and the treasurer is currently reviewing it. When we receive approval those checks will be written and sent out. This process may take 1 – 2 weeks.
There are other refunds that will be addressed such as Model UN and AP testing fees. If you have questions regarding those two programs please email Mrs. Schwartzkopf for Model UN at firstname.lastname@example.org. For AP testing fee questions please email Ms. Robinson at email@example.com.
The Preschool, Perley extended day, Penn Brook extended day programs and after school enrichment refunds are still pending and decisions will be made once the status regarding returning to school is determined.
